Our story
Our humble abode.
Abode is named for the first place we lived together. We opened the showroom in Lafayette in 2022, but our story in flooring starts much earlier.
We both grew up in the trade. Our fathers came to this country and each built a 40-year career in flooring. We spent years working in their businesses, learning how floors are made, sourced and installed, from the factory to the finished room.
That background is why we know our finishes in detail and choose every product in our showroom with care. We built Abode the way we’d plant a tree: with intention and patience.
We treat every home we work in like it’s our own.
